The Divine Experience

Reaching the exit of the celestial hallway, the little traveler passed through the bright prismatic light and gently landed on his feet. The sights before him were mesmerizing. He appeared to be positioned on an embankment of wavy green grass that was interlaced with bright beautiful flowers. At the bottom of the hill was a stream and beyond that was a majestic snowcapped mountain set against an incredible deep blue sky, punctuated with a few cumulus cloud formations, bright white and prominent in size. The quality of the air seemed to be pure and clean and absent of any distracting haze while the temperature seemed to be perfect without even a hint of humidity.

Several exotic birds could be witnessed drifting effortlessly on light breezes a distance above the crystal clear stream. These fascinating winged creatures were unlike any birds he had ever seen before. Every color of the rainbow appeared to be magically woven into the tapestry-like scenery set before him. In addition, every hue of every color seemed to have its own personality, either deeply saturated or uniquely mixed into an attractive shade. Even the sounds that enveloped this new world were distinctive. Each and every audible tone blended together harmoniously to create a soft, lilting musical composition. The little unassuming guest was truly standing on the threshold of a divine paradise.

The boy's attempt to absorb his new surroundings was soon interrupted by the distraction of a woman's image approaching him on his left side. Speaking in a gentle tone she said, "Hello Raymond . . . do not be afraid, for I am the Blessed Mother . . . and you are in Heaven". She then asked the boy not to look up at Her face, stating "Only those children who are to remain in Heaven's care may look upon My face." She paused for a moment then continued to talk, "From birth all deaths are planned by God and your death was not planned, so you will be returning to life." Stepping closer towards his left side, She then placed Her right arm around his right shoulder and lightly pulled him into Her. Sharing this comfortable moment together, the two blissfully looked onward, studying and appreciating all the beauty set before them.

The Blessed Mother then removed Her arm from around his shoulder and gently placed Her right hand into Raymond's left hand. "Lets walk down to the stream", She said, "For it is there I wish to continue my conversation with you." Quietly the two walked together hand-in-hand down the grassy hillside, parting the long stemmed, delicate flowers as they meandered on. A few minutes later they arrived at the stream bed that was noticed earlier from up on the hill. The sound of rushing water could now be clearly heard as it raced on past the polished rocks. Here it was She spoke to the boy again. "You are only to remain in Heaven's care for a short period of time, but while you are here, there is so much you need to know . . . information, My Son, the Lord, wants Me to tell you . . . information that will change your life forever."
